I have added a page on Michael Dunahee as his story was one of the first missing persons that I really followed. I lived in Vancouver when he disappeared in nearby Victoria and it is just the oddest case. I have looked at it over the years and there are just so many things that I see that are wrong with it. Like why were they chasing leads in New Jersey so shortly after his disappearance. I realize this probably did not take any energy away from the local effort to find him but with most missing children, they don’t go 3000 miles away, they don’t even end up 3 miles away a lot of the time. Perhaps the reward was just too high so it brought out all kinds of BS leads from people wanting the money. Rewards are really there to try to entice someone with real info but I think they can also bring a lot of false leads which is discouraging. So I don’t know what to think here, but in case anyone has any information or thoughts on it, have a look. Just something insignificant that they saw on that day could be the little thing to crack it wide open.
