So eBay was on the Shopify app as an easy link for people with Shopify stores to cross list on ebay.
Personally, as an ebay seller – I WAS NEVER A FAN
I have had a shopify store and it was SUPER CLUNKY AND A PAIN for the amount of sales
But even if you love it — it is SUPER RARE that a cross list app to ebay ever works well
In fact I can only think of one that works like a dream — and it isn’t shopify.
There are several that take your ebay inventory and drop it other places — and all of those have issues — like manually having to end your ebay item
It isn’t gone yet – but if you are signing up for shopify now, it is ending in a couple of Months — January 2023
So it does seem like some people really like it — but it also sounds like it has a lot of issues as it doesn’t have very great ratings.
Maybe shopify will step up and write something for its users — considering the chunk of fees they want from sellers.
Otherwise — I think we will be seeing a lot of those sellers coming back to being active ebay sellers sometime in the new year.
We shall wait and see 🙂
