Oh ebay — it seems like I can go a couple of weeks without adding someone to the block list and then POOF, I will add several.
So here is an update to the ebay bad buyer list. There are the usual scammers but lately there have been some who just do not pay. Non-paying bidders is a really common problem on ebay auctions but I RARELY DO AUCTIONS. Almost all of my stuff is buy-it-now so you have to wonder why would they even click to buy it if they aren’t going to pay, right? I mean the simple thing is just not to click the buy it now button and a lot of the time there is a commitment after there. You can add things to your cart on ebay with NO COMMITMENT TO PAY so why go past that step if you don’t plan to pay? Who knows. Either ebay has a new rash of moron buyers or something has changed where they don’t realize they are committing to buy (my guess would be an issue on the app)
So here it is — an updated list of people you don’t want to do business with. Trust me, NO BUSINESS is better than doing business with these folks because these ebay bad buyers will do nothing but cost you money and aggravation. There are the classic ebay scammers who claim they didn’t get it and the ones who just return everything (and damage it or break it before they return it or pack it so badly it incurs damage on the way back to you – not to mention you as a seller probably paid for the return). And a few of these are straight up crazy and will threaten you or blow up your feedback or send you crazy message after crazy message. There are a few buyers on here that I had to call ebay about and a few that I just had to cut of contact with and tell them to call ebay customer service because they were so totally insane. And I am not a wilting flower, I have no issue with people getting aggressive. And I have no problem with people venting. These are way above and beyond that.
So you have been warned – -block these bad ebay buyers before they mess with your business and bottom line – because they will!
If you are not using your block list — you need to start. The link is under shortcuts on your main ebay selling page and then click that and then click manage block buyer list and then add your list there in the box. Use their full username and if you are adding more than one buyer to you ebay block buyer list, be sure to add a comma between the usernames.
